Reporting Staff
Spencer Brand serves as artist/assistant professor of trumpet at McNeese State University and performs with the ‘Vive Ensemble and the Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra.
Molly Collins is majoring in music education and trumpet performance at the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam. She performs in both classical and jazz settings.
Braden Collison is a master’s degree student at the University of Utah. This is his first time reporting for the International Trumpet Guild Conference.
Joe Cooper is the trumpet professor at Oklahoma State University and has been active in serving ITG in various roles since 2017.
Stanley Curtis serves as trumpet professor at Colorado State University.
Davy DeArmond is a trumpet instrumentalist with the United States Naval Academy Band. He holds faculty positions at The Catholic University of America, Washington College, and Anne Arundel Community College.
Benjamin Dubbert is the 2025 conference intern and exhibits coordinator for the ITG Conference. He currently resides in Florida where he is doctoral student at Florida State University.
Luis Engelke is professor of trumpet at Towson University, is an active performer in the Mid-Atlantic region, and has over 350 publications to his credit. He has served as Music Reviews editor for the ITG Journal since 1997.
Kris Gilmore is a DMA student at the University of Utah.
Angela King (editorial assistant) is active as a performer and pedagogue and serves as assistant professor of trumpet at the University of Central Arkansas.
Kyle McLean serves as lecturer of trumpet at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
Peter Nionakis is instructor of trumpet, music theory, and jazz studies at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Ryan Perry is a trumpet performance major at the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
Maryna Pohlman is the social media coordinator and News editor for the International Trumpet Guild and is currently a doctoral student in trumpet performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
Jacinda Ripley is assistant professor of trumpet at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.
Sarah Stoneback is associate professor of trumpet at Montana State University. She has served on the ITG board of directors since 2021 and is the newly elected ITG vice president/president-elect, beginning in October.
T.J. Tesh is the ITG treasurer and serves as associate professor of trumpet at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Matt Vangjel teaches trumpet at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is also a member of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra and the Fountain City Brass Band.
Spencer Wallin lives north of Salt Lake City, Utah and freelances throughout the Utah area. He formerly served as adjunct trumpet instructor at Brigham Young University and Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
Jodi Graham Wood (editorial assistant) is lecturer of music at the University of South Alabama and serves ITG as assistant editor and advertising manager.

Harmon Dobson is a freelance photographer and Army musician based in central Texas. He is a proud graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder and Southern Methodist University.
Seth Ian Mower is a portrait and music photographer based in Salt Lake City and is the lead photographer for the Utah Symphony.
Joe Smith is a freelance photographer and trumpet player based in Northern Colorado. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa, a member of Zephyr Brass Collective, and bandleader of The Spicy Pickles.
